We are delighted to inform you of an outstanding leadership opportunity at high profile Catholic school serving boys and girls from preschool through eighth grade in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

The Search Committee of Saint Mary Catholic School, led by Fr. Doug Halsema, in coordination with the Office for Catholic Schools of Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee, seeks its next Principal for the 2022-23 school year, starting July 2022.

Saint Mary is an extraordinarily strong and vibrant Catholic school, widely known and respected in the Florida Panhandle. Founded in 1946 and fully accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference, Saint Mary seeks to form future saints in the Catholic intellectual tradition. The campus has extensive facilities and is a safe and welcoming environment, serving over 400 students in grades K3-8.

With the retirement of Principal Amy Akins, the search committee seeks a dynamic and faith-filled entrepreneurial leader. To qualify, you will need to be a practicing Catholic and accomplished servant leader with Catholic school administrative experience. While knowledge of education and school operations is strongly preferred, other qualities and experiences are also valued, especially spiritual leadership, visionary-entrepreneurial leadership and the ability to inspire, lead a high performing team, and create demand for the extraordinary gifts of a Catholic school education.
