Confirmation – Saint Mary Catholic Church

Confirmation Mass is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, 2020 at 2PM .

Please review Dress Code for Confirmation Mass.

We want to provide our young people with a Confirmation Preparation that allows them to be formed in their faith, grow in their relationship with the Lord and encounter opportunities for prayer and worship while continuing to be mindful of the unique challenges we are all facing right now with health and safety.

We will have a Virtual Parent/Teen Meeting on August 23rd at 1pm on Zoom to discuss everything in detail.

*Please have your teen finish the Alpha Youth Sessions that were assigned in the Spring Semester.

Your teen must complete this series before you can move on in the program.

We need the completed Alpha Youth Series assignments emailed to lifeteen@saintmary.life by September 6th.
We need a copy of your Baptism Certificate if you were not Baptized at Saint Mary by Sept.13.

Our Fall Semester Confirmation Preparation will consist of:

‘Teaching Mass’ in person at Saint Mary on September 13th (1pm – 4pm)
3 (1 hour) online Zoom meetings
Videos to watch at home
Assignments that will need to be turned in

September 13:

Teaching Mass at Saint Mary followed by a Tour of the Church, 1pm – 4pm. (Registration and Sponsor Worksheets Due).

*We will follow the same protocols that are being used for Sunday Masses – social distancing, face coverings and hand sanitizing upon entrance. Each Confirmation small group will be assigned a section of the church so that you can still be with your own group while still having appropriate social distancing.
