What is Restored Order?

Restored order refers to the practice of celebrating the Sacraments of Initiation in the following order:

Baptism –> Confirmation –> Eucharist

It restores the Holy Eucharist to the climax of initiation. We are returning to the original order of the Sacraments of Initiation in our Diocese.

What is Changing for 2026-2027?

• Required participation in Family Faith Formation Kindergarten through 12th grade (our Family Adventure Day Program) beginning Fall 2026
• Sacramental Preparation: Preparation and reception of First Reconciliation will take place Spring 2027
• Children will receive Confirmation and First Eucharist together in the 3rd grade on a date to be announced in 2028.
